I painted this from a photograph a friend of mine took. I thought it was a beautiful picture. Was it because of the colours, or the effect of light on the subject? Or is it the look in maggie’s eyes, or his delicate pose? Or is it simply the moment in time that has been captured so masterfully? If we just observe, beauty really does abound.
