Malika is a member of a family that seems to be involved in everything my community has to offer. Whenever I go out, the Wedlocks are there. At my daughter’s school speech night, Malika performed in a ballet performance. For a moment she threw this pose at the audience, and I conceived of a tintype image looking down the barrel of her gaze.
